Transfer Academic Advising. Plan to be on campus for the entire four hour session (8:30am-12:30pm or 1:00pm-5:00pm). We strongly recommend students eat prior to attending Transfer Advising Sessions; food is not permitted in the computer labs used during advising sessions.

Transferring from Temple to Another School. Current students, who plan to transfer from Temple University to another university in the United States, must use the Transfer Out Request Form to notify International Student and Scholar Services (your "current school") of your intent to transfer, so ISSS can update your SEVIS record with this information.

When to Apply. For most programs, transfer students need to complete the application process by June 1 for the fall semester or by November 1 for the spring semester.

*This policy relates only to transfer credit with Core Required Course Indicator (Core RCI) designations. To complete GenEd requirements with courses taken at Temple students should select from the approved GenEd courses.

Equivalency Tables. The Academic Policies section of the current Temple Undergraduate Bulletin describes a number of policies that relate to Credit for Prior Learning. Official transcripts for courses from other institutions and official score reports should be sent directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
